Xuzhou Zm-Besta Delivers Robust Steel Structure Solution for Indonesia’s Su Steel Group Ferroalloy Furnace Project

2026-04-29

Xuzhou Zm-Besta Heavy Steel Structure Co., Ltd. has completed the steel structure engineering for Indonesia Su Steel Group’s ferroalloy furnace project, marking another successful overseas delivery of high-performance industrial steel solutions. This project demonstrates the company’s strong engineering capabilities in complex metallurgical facilities and its growing presence in the Southeast Asian market.

The ferroalloy furnace project, located in Indonesia, features multi-story industrial steel structures designed to withstand high temperatures, heavy loads, and harsh tropical environmental conditions. As a core part of the production facility, the steel frame system required strict compliance with both Chinese and international industrial standards, as well as special design considerations for seismic resistance, corrosion protection, and long-term structural stability.

“Metallurgical projects like this ferroalloy furnace present unique challenges, including high-temperature resistance, heavy load-bearing requirements, and strict safety standards,” said the project lead at Zm-Besta. “Our engineering team optimized the steel structure design using high-strength steel and advanced anti-corrosion technologies, ensuring the frame can operate reliably in Indonesia’s humid and corrosive industrial environment for decades.”

The project was executed using a comprehensive EPC-style model, covering detailed design, precision fabrication, modular transportation, and on-site installation supervision. Zm-Besta’s workshop production lines fabricated over thousands of steel components with strict quality control, while modular packaging and shipping ensured safe delivery to the remote Indonesian site. On-site, the team worked closely with local contractors to coordinate installation, overcoming logistical challenges and tight schedules to keep the project on track.

Indonesia is a key growth market for Zm-Besta, driven by its booming metallurgical and infrastructure sectors. The Su Steel Group project adds to the company’s portfolio of successful industrial projects in the region, showcasing its ability to deliver tailored steel solutions for power plants, mining facilities, and heavy industry applications.

This milestone further strengthens Zm-Besta’s reputation as a trusted partner for overseas industrial steel structure projects. With a proven track record of international delivery, the company continues to expand its global footprint, bringing Chinese engineering excellence and reliable steel solutions to clients across Southeast Asia and beyond.
