Xuzhou Zm-Besta Wins the Third Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from China Installation Association

Xuzhou Zm-Besta Heavy Steel Structure Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 920057, hereinafter referred to as Zm-Besta) has won the Third Prize of the 2026 Science and Technology Progress Award issued by China Installation Association for its jointly researched construction technology achievement. This authoritative award stands as official recognition of Zm-Besta’s R&D strength in intelligent and green steel structure installation.

The awarded technical achievement is titled Modular Intelligent Support System Construction Technology for Segmental Hoisting of Large-Span Spatial Pipe Truss Structures. Targeting the construction challenges of large-span spatial pipe trusses, this technology delivers three core breakthroughs:

  • Modular Design: Support towers are assembled with standard segments via bolt connections. Prefabricated in factories and rapidly erected on site, they allow repeated turnover and reuse to adapt to various construction conditions.
  • Intelligent Control: Integrated sensor data collection, closed-loop BIM linkage regulation and cloud-based digital twin systems realize full-process intelligent monitoring, precise adjustment and remote management during construction.
  • Integrated Construction Process: Based on BIM digital simulation, we have developed an integrated full-set construction methodology covering assembly, positioning, closure and unloading, which greatly enhances the precision and efficiency of steel structure installation.

 

 

The 2026 Science and Technology Progress Award of China Installation Association adopted stringent evaluation criteria after multiple rounds of screening. A total of 20 First Prizes, 28 Second Prizes and 57 Third Prizes were selected nationwide.
